This Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") governs the access to and use of this budgeting system ("Service") provided by Abacus Technologies ("We", "Us", or "Our"), which is based on the Drupal platform and made available to you ("User", "You", or "Your") free of charge. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms set forth in this Agreement.
If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you must not access or use the Service.
1. Access to the Service
- Eligibility: The Service is available to individuals who are at least 13 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
- Account Registration: In order to use certain features of the Service, you will need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
- Security and Password: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

This right may be exercised without prior notice and is not subject to appeal. Upon account termination or suspension, all rights to use the Service will immediately cease.

- Responsibility for Content: You are solely responsible for any data, information, or content that you upload, enter, or submit through the Service ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display the User Content as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

- Be defamatory, obscene, or offensive.
- Infringe on any applicable laws or regulations.
- Data Loss Disclaimer: You acknowledge and agree that Abacus is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or damage to your User Content or any other data stored through the Service. Abacus does not guarantee the availability, security, or integrity of your User Content and shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the failure of data storage or transfer.

- Best Practices for Sensitive Information:
- Avoid Entering Sensitive Information: To protect your privacy, we strongly recommend that you do not input highly sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, credit card details, passwords, government identification numbers, or other confidential data) into the Service unless explicitly required for the purpose of a feature.
- Be Cautious with Personal Data: While we take measures to safeguard your data, no system is completely secure. - Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the Drupal platform, software, design, logos, and content, are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
- The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party websites, and you access them at your own risk.
9. Governing Law
- This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Utah in the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Utah County, Utah, USA.
10. Changes to the Terms
- We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms of Use on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
